Common wisdom says that in municipal elections, name recognition wins. The logic continues to suggest that because incumbents are well known, they are most likely to be the victors. Clearly, common wisdom doesn't apply to 撸奶社区politics.

When you go to the polls to vote on Saturday (Nov. 19) if you are not a supporter of Ian Sutherland you have a difficult choice to make. Your options are limited: vote for Terrill Patterson, don't cast a mayoral vote at all or vote for Sutherland.

Someone once said that the best way to predict the future is to invent it.

It is a little more than four years until the Olympic bandwagon makes its way along the Sea to Sky corridor, and already we're starting to hear some sour notes being played.

It is fairly apparent CN just doesn't get it. As many of us rubbed the sleep from our eyes Thursday morning, we learned that the rail company put another eight rail cars off the tracks in the Sunset Beach area just north of Horseshoe Bay.
