Two men injured after crane collapses at Saskatoon construction site, police say

SASKATOON — Two people have been injured after a crane collapsed in Saskatoon. Saskatoon police Staff Sgt. Joe Tataryn says officers were dispatched to a construction site on Webster Street in the city's northeast on Saturday morning.

SASKATOON — Two people have been injured after a crane collapsed in Saskatoon.

Saskatoon police Staff Sgt. Joe Tataryn says officers were dispatched to a construction site on Webster Street in the city's northeast on Saturday morning.

Tataryn says a crane collapsed at the site and two workers were injured.

Both men were taken to hospital, but Tataryn did not have any word on their conditions.

He says police remain at the scene.

He also says provincial occupational health and safety officials have been contacted about the collapse.
