Police say they have charged one person after an all-terrain vehicle rollover left a nine-year-old girl dead in eastern Ontario last fall.
Ontario Provincial Police say the 35-year-old suspect from North Frontenac Township has been charged with causing death by criminal negligence and will appear in court in June.
The crash happened on Greer Road last October.
OPP say someone spotted an overturned ATV in a ditch and found the injured child.
Police say the girl, who was from the area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
They had previously said that the girl had been driving the ATV, and two passengers managed to escape and seek help at a nearby house.
