A partnership between and as yielded 16 new affordable childcare spaces for kids aged 30 months to five years.
This program is set to open in September with hours of operation running Monday toFriday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“At SSCS, we are seeing firsthand the rapid growth of families and young children in our community,” said SCSS executive director Jaye Russell in a news release. “We are so pleased for our ongoing partnership with SD48 and the opportunity to open up this new full-day childcare space in September. At SSCS, it is our priority that we play a role as a key strategic partner and provider of childcare in 撸奶社区to ensure families have access to affordable childcare spaces.”
School board trustee Cynthia Higgins, commended the program.
“It is gratifying for us at SD48 to have the opportunity to partner with SSCS to provide families with much-needed childcare spaces at Brackendale Elementary School,” said Higgins in the release.
“It is our intention that this partnership will result in more families knowing that their children will have a safe place to learn, play and grow and that when families have access to high quality, affordable childcare children, and communities will benefit. We are very much looking forward to opening the doors to these new spaces in the near future and for continued opportunities to work in partnership with SSCS.”
