On the evening of Oct. 19, masked guests will descend on the West Coast Railway Heritage Park to embark on a fundraising mission for ߣÄÌÉçÇøHelping Hands.
Over the course (and courses) of the event, guests will sample from more than 20 beverage vendors and 15 food vendors. A silent auction adds more mystery to the masquerade, as bidders wait to see who wins the variety of prizes.
Joe Fusion and Dreams, a Fleetwood Mac cover band, is set to perform.
Proceeds to ߣÄÌÉçÇøHelping Hands will help provide shelter, food and support to community members in need. On its website, it says Helping Hands serves more than 100 people hot meals every day, and provides 3,000 shelter stays per year.
ߣÄÌÉçÇøHelping Hand's Under One Roof, a one-stop-shop facility that will include housing, a shelter, the ߣÄÌÉçÇøFood Bank, and services, is currently being constructed downtown.
