Ever head out to the 撸奶社区Valley to camp, ride, hike, float or fish and, as you drive over the steel Ashlu Road bridge that has a wood beam deck with some ruts in it, find yourself wondering, "When was the last time someone checked this bridge?"
Well, turns out, it is checked quite often and drivers can find out more whenever they like here, in a link from the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations.
In short, inspections on the bridge were carried out 2020, 2019, 2018, 2016, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2010 and 2008.
Here's this ink to see the inspections.
The bridge is the gateway to the popular free campsite along the river, the 撸奶社区Riverside Campsite, the Ashlu Creek campsite, the Siqurd Valley Trail Trailhead and the Ashlu Creek run-of-river hydroelectric power generating plant.
The latest inspection in 2020 has not yet been posted on the website because the bridge engineers are still reviewing the inspection information, the ministry spokesperson said.
"Road Use Permit holders are notified when new inspections are posted and encouraged to look for any changes or maintenance issues within their operating areas," said ministry spokesperson Tyler Hooper.
