It was a youth-led night full of good vibes all around.
Thetook over the Brackendale Art Gallery: Café & Culture Centre on Sunday, May 4, for Youth Excellence Night.
The council is made up of youth aged 12 to 18 who meet monthly with members of the 撸奶社区council.
Members serve a one year term and one of their main goals is "to amplify the voice of 撸奶社区youth in matters and projects that directly impact them."
At the May 4 event, there was a pop-up youth market, youth excellence awards (including awards for adults in the community who are making an impact with youth), and the awarding of $5,000 in micro-grants.
