ߣÄÌÉçÇøis playing host to about 40 Bobcats.
Our 4th ߣÄÌÉçÇøScout Group welcomed the Bobcats - Unit 25 of the Greater London South East Scouts to town last week.
Rows of pup tents on the field of Sea to Sky Learning Connections was home for their ߣÄÌÉçÇøvisit.
The U.K. contingent has been on the road since July 20, and returns to London Aug. 8.
The visiting Scouts, who are all 15 years old, stopped in New York, West Virginia, Washington DC and Squamish.

The reason for the overseas visit was the World Scout Jamboree, which happens every four years. This year the jamboree was in West Virginia. Approximately 45,000 Scouts from around the globe gathered for almost two weeks — 4,000 of those were from the U.K.
Those 100 U.K. units are currently all visiting Canada
The Bobcats ended up in the Sea to Sky because Scouts Canada asked for volunteer hosts, and the 4th ߣÄÌÉçÇøScouts stepped up.
"It is a great opportunity for the kids to meet other kids from across the world," said Claire Stubley, 4th ߣÄÌÉçÇøScouts Group commissioner.
While in ߣÄÌÉçÇøthe youth visited Shadow Lake — for smokies and s'mores —and took the Peak 2 Peak Gondola in Whistler.
